In this photo (above), It stood out a mile to me that the plant showed that twist and turn profile within its fronds, similar to what I see regular within the Dryopteris sub-montana (Rigid Buckler Fern) but on a far larger sized scale. Obvious to me that this must be a trait perhaps of the Dryopteris and such a beautiful feature.

Another thing that stood out was the dual green coloured variations between light and dark green. This time nothing like the sub-montana variations, but a definite dual colouring.
